Road‐show events Business background
Realia Group is a UK based multifamily family office comprised of the following business units: Realia Capital Management (RCM) ‐ an investment management firm specialized in property and infrastructure investments in the UK, Switzerland and a number of other EU jurisdictions; Realia Investor Services ‐ a service company offering lifestyle and business support services to RCM’s clients, Realia Estates – a boutique real estate agency serving the needs of RCM clients, and Realia Capital Events – an events management subsidiary organizing marketing and business events for Realia Group and its clients.

Historically Russia has been of the key regions for Realia Group for attracting new clients. Since 2011 Realia’s team has been organizing various events and presentations in Russia to raise awareness among the target HNWI public of products and services offered by Realia Group. These events have proven crucial not only for acquiring new clients but also for strengthening relationships with the existing ones. Since the beginning of 2013 Realia has been focusing on developing business in the Russian regions where it has successfully conducted 11 events to date. Building on this valuable experience Realia Group is continuing its Russian road‐show programme in 2015/16.

With the view of complementing its business proposition to the Russian audience with a broader range of professional services, Realia Group would we like to invite its UK, Swiss and Russia ‐ based business partners from legal, tax, immigration advisory, private banking, property development, fine are and luxury goods sectors to take part in its Russian road show events. Realia’s road‐show events offer a unique possibility to establish contact with target HNWI audiences in Russia’s key cities.

Key objectives
  • Find potential contacts and business leads among regional HNWI clients;
  • Raise regional HNWI’s awareness of investment products and solutions offered by Realia Group and its business partners;
  • Build up a positive company image among the local elite;
  • Create a solid base of potential leads for developing future business in a given region;
Target public
Regional HNWI elite (including prominent businessmen, private investors, directors of large state enterprises, members of local government and administration) interested in diversifying their investments aboard, acquiring private and /or investment property, and/or potentially interested in relocating to the UK / Switzerland. Representatives of the aforementioned persons (e.g. financial and legal advisors, CFOs , family offices etc)

Event theme
Events’ themes are centred around property and alternative investments into the UK and Switzerland Previous events’ titles included:

Arrangements
Realia Event’s team will make sure that the event is organized and run in a professional way to a high standard. Realia will make all relevant arrangements for the event including arrangements with the venue, presentation equipment incl. laptop, catering , guest invitations and guest list management. Attendees from each participating company will only need to bring their presentation on a flash drive and as well as any printed promotional materials they may wish to distribute to the guests.

Guest invitations
All Realia roadshow events are by invitation only. Guests are invited by Realia’s team directly or through Realia’s local partners and/or other trusted sources. Realia has an extensive network of local contacts (direct contacts, connections through Russian federal and local governments and Russian parliament, contacts with local business groups and key decision makers etc) which allows Realia team to secure attendance by a select group of local HNWI’s in each city. Realia business partners are also allowed to invite a limited number of their existing and/or prospective clients (subject to previous agreement).

Road‐show events Typical event format

Typical number of guests: 2030

A typical event consists of two parts: a formal presentation and an informal reception and/or a dinner (depending on type of venue). During the first part of the event each participating company gets 2030 minutes of speaking time to present themselves and their products/services to the audience. The formal part is then followed by an informal dinner or reception (with hot food and alcohol). During the second part Realia also organizes whisky tasting sessions to create a more relaxed and friendly atmosphere to allow professional participants and guests to ‘break the ice’ and establish positive contact. All professional participants have, therefore, a perfect opportunity to speak and establish contacts with all guests.

The event generally lasts 45 hours (1.5  2 hours for presentations and Q&A, the remaining time is used for reception and networking). A typical event starts in late afternoon/early evening and lasts until 22,00 – 23,00 depending upon the venue regulations and the day of the week.

Professional participants
Realia Group runs its roadshow events jointly with its business partners which include companies whose business is complementary to the activities of Realia Group. Typically these include professional services firms (legal, tax, immigration), private banks, developers of residential properties, fine art specialists, retailers of luxury goods.

Advertising possibilities
  • Each company gets a possibly to setup a small presentation area (generally consisting of a standup banner and a brochure stand). Depending upon the venue there might also be possibilities for displaying additional promotional materials (banners, logos etc);
  • Participants' logos are included on paper and digital invitations
  • References to the participants are made in a pressrelease distributed by Realia and in the local press (if applicable).
Noncompetition guarantee
Realia Group organizes its roadshow events with the idea of offering Russian clients a range of complementary services from a group of leading international professional and luxury services companies. Realia guarantees to all professional participants that no other competing international firms will be present at the event which they participate in. As a good business practice all participants, in turn, undertake not to advertise at the event services of other companies which may be in competition with other professional participants present.

Cost
£2,5003,000 (incl. VAT) per participant, depending on local costs. Realia Group organizes these events on nonprofit basis with 100% of participants’ contributions going towards the costs of the events.
